Whippy is one of my all time favorite streamers on Twitch right now! I’ve been watching him for about five months, and subscribed for almost four. He is typically always playing GTA Online through the NoPixel.net role play server. He plays two different characters with shockingly explosive personalities. He is known for playing Irwin Dundee (right) and Officer Crocodile Steve (left). Officer Croc happens to be my personal favorite, although his character is not played as often; it’s a special treat when I open Twitch and see Whippy playing as Croc– usually because his other character Dundee is currently in prison.
Whippy is an Australian streamer with a powerfully captivating voice. He stood out to me among other streamers when streaming on NoPixel, mainly because his characters are so outspoken, hilarious, and blatantly loud. I personally love watching Whippy’s streams, especially whenever I’m up late sick (which happens more often lately); he has a very gentle, calming voice in reality. Because of the time difference with America and Australia, I’m able to have enough time to watch almost his entire stream from the beginning up until I usually fall asleep six hours later.
Whippy is open and honest about his mental healthy journey. He is also very involved and engaged with his chat. He often partners up with different organizations that provide services for those struggling with life after trauma. His most recent campaign with Survivors.org, with #WhippyForSurvivors as the official hashtag, was a huge success with a total of $30,056.38 donated in just a few hours! I look forward to Whippy’s Twitch channel growing into a larger audience, as it has since I began watching his streams some months ago. If you’re looking for a lot of laughs as well as the occasional tears, from the role play of course, Whippy’s channel is a very exciting channel to tune into. Whippy is absolutely 100% a NoPixel role play legend in my book.
AnthonyZ is another NoPixel streamer with an absolutely wild character to play. I’ve been watching AnthonyZ’s streamer about a month longer than Whippy’s, and I’ve been subscribed to Anthony’s longer. I’m quite late to the NoPixel stream party, but at least I made it! Anthony plays Tony Corleone, a mobster of unknown descent with a thick Italian accent (I think it’s Italian?). The accent for his character is my number one favorite thing about Anthony’s NoPixel streams. I’m not sure what makes it so funny to me, but the accent on top of his character’s dialog is enough to have me crying real tears.
Anthony’s character Tony has a very deep rooted storyline along with the ChangGang, Soy Boys, and other very tight-knit crews within the game. Tony’s story is a little hard for me to keep up with, I’m usually playing catch up, because AnthonyZ’s schedule is always changing depending on different events and outings he has to attend in real life. His channel schedule and my personal schedule as far as watching streams don’t really line up too often anymore, so I’m usually watching previous streams or trying to catch up through other streamers– since all of the storylines are linked in one way or another.
Content Warning: Profanity, Kidnapping
There are very few emotional moments with Tony on NoPixel, which is great for when I’m not in the mood to be in my feelings. Tony is always up to wild, random, unwarranted schemes and shenanigans throughout the NoPixel server. One of my favorite moments on AnthonyZ’s stream was when Tony and his crew kidnapped Abdul, the mayor of Los Santos. It was the perfect timing of the perfect crime. Anthony also likes to share stories from his personal life– which are really quite interesting and become hilarious once chat gets involved. I recommend AnthonyZ’s stream to anyone looking to laugh nonstop for hours at a time. I’m not sure how he is able to pull off half of his stunts in the game, but AnthonyZ is absolutely another NoPixel legend.
Ramee is another rockstar in the NoPixel role playing world. Ramee’s stream is usually very laid back and relaxing. I usually have Ramee’s stream playing when I first log into my monitors at work, because I don’t expect things to get too crazy on my work screen while there are still supervisors walking around. Ramee’s character is a member of the Chang Gang; a very exclusive and notorious gang within the NoPixel server. Chang Gang, in my opinion, is one of the most notorious gangs within the city. I haven’t heard much from them in the last couple of weeks, but a lot of players were sent to do prison time, all at the same time, so there’s a lot of instability and chaos in the NoPixel server.
Ramee himself is a very blunt person, but he truly cares for his viewers. I’ve been subscribed to Ramee’s channel for a few months now and the first month he actually gifted to me himself. I personally have never witnessed a streamer do that, I’ve gifted and had other subs gifted to me, but I’d never had an actual streamer gift a subscription to me, so that stood out and I made sure to stay subscribed to his channel. I’m not able to watch Ramee as much at night, his streaming schedule is very different as well. There are times where he does streams past two or three in the morning and I’m able to watch, and those are always fun. Side note: late night streams are unhinged and basically perfection.
Ramee’s character, to me, has the best drip. He’s always wearing the best outfits and his vehicles are insane. NoPixel is a very not chill place, but Ramee finds a way to work in his chill personality. He never really yells and I really appreciate that on a lot of days, because of my anxiety from life and the field of work I’m in. I love the amount of effort he puts into his outfits and the types of cars he chooses to drive in the game. He has impeccable taste and that’s another reason why he’s an absolute role play rockstar in the NoPixel server.
As of 12/1/21, Ramee is officially partnered with Facebook Gaming! I do wish him all the best, and I look forward to his future streams on a new platform! Congratulations, Ramee!
xQc , or known on Twitch as xQcOW, is probably one of if not the most, popular streamer in gaming history. With an average of 80,00 to 115,000 views at any given time during a stream, he’s able to reach millions of viewers in just a few minutes. xQc is a variety gamer, and also likes to watch YouTube videos with his Twitch chat. X is very well known for his rage videos on YouTube where he would punch and throw his keyboard quite often. Thankful for the surplus of backup keyboards, these “older” videos are always a source of happiness for me. One of my favorite X rage moments was during the height of the ‘Among Us’ surge, when– to be honest, every person that played the game raged. When X rages in particular, it’s his brutal honestly in the heat of the moment, where he undoubtedly says the first that that crosses his mind, no matter how bizarre it may sound. During the one round, he referred to a friend he was playing with as a “bum”, which in the moment was quite hilarious, but the rage was intense– ‘Among Us’ is indeed a game that could end true friendships.
Warning: Profanity, Offensive Language
X has quite the history with the NoPixel server. He has been banned from the server itself a total of five times, and although many of them were justifiable, he still finds time to return and bless Twitch with his criminal mayhem. X now refers to himself as a “washed up criminal”, but we all know deep down, he’s still bad to the bone in the streets of Los Santos.
When I’m watching X’s stream, I feel like I’m at a super lit online party. The chat is impossible to keep up with, but he offers a variety of content during his streams and I always get the feeling that he’s happy to be where he is. He’s very in the moment and I know that he genuinely loves streaming and cares for his audience. Many people have different opinions of X, there’s different blogs about him saying negative things, but I like to see the positive in everyone– no this blog post is not satire. He’s very engaging with his audience, and although the rage clips aren’t as common, he brings good quality content, even if it’s just him kicking it watching YouTube videos, X’s stream is always, always a great place to chill and laugh.
